Condition Report:
This antique Davenport desk is in fair to good condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its period. There is a crack visible on the underside of the sloped writing surface, which does not affect its function. A couple of the side handles on the dummy drawers have been re-glued at some point. One of the feet has a small piece of wood broken off at the top corner—this is relatively discreet and not immediately noticeable. Additionally, one handle has a small chip. Overall, the desk remains sturdy and retains its charm, with wear appropriate to its age.
