The top is in good antique condition and the original brass tilt mechanism remains sturdy and functions perfectly, allowing the table to be stored upright to save space. While the table is structurally sound, the quadruform pedestal base shows some honest signs of age, including minor chips and surface scuffs to the veneer and carved feet; these are typical for a 19th-century piece and do not detract from its overall elegance.
